Gareth Whiley

Gareth Whiley joined in 1997 and heads the group's UK investment team with additional responsibility for investment in the retail and leisure sectors. He is currently a non-executive director of Paramount Restaurants and TJ Hughes and was previously a director of Oasis and Phadia.
Gareth qualified as a solicitor with Linklaters & Paines before moving into corporate finance, initially with the investment bank SG Warburg and later within Guinness plc.
Gareth studied Mathematics and Law at Cambridge University.
