James has been with the firm since1998 and is responsible for investment in the business services sector.
James qualified as a chartered accountant with Arthur Andersen in 1993 where he worked in corporate finance advising on private equity transactions.
He is a non-executive director of Azzurri Communications. He was previously a non-executive director of Barracuda Group, Astron Group and TJ Hughes.
James studied Economics at Birmingham University.
