Histoire d'Or retails gold, silver and costume jewellery including watches via a network of 185 company-owned stores as at 31 March 2008. The majority of stores are situated in shopping centres throughout France with a small number located in city centres. As at 31 March 2008 the business also had a total of 15 locations outside France, namely in Belgium, Italy, Portugal and Spain. Since our acquisition the store portfolio has been expanded through the addition of more than 60 locations. The business generated revenues of €154 million in the year to 30 September 2007.
