At the time of the investment in 1996, Pubmaster based in Hartlepool, had circa 2,000 tenanted public houses across England, Wales and Scotland.

Divestment

The divestment of Pubmaster Group to Pubmistress Limited was completed in 2000 for an undisclosed sum. Principal investors in Pubmistress were WestLB’s Asset Securitisation and Principal Finance Group, Rotch Property Group and St Modwen Properties plc.
