In a €100 million public to private transaction we backed the acquisition of fashion retailer Oasis Stores plc. The transaction was made through Sierra Holdings Limited in 2001.

Oasis is a design-led women’s fashion retailer operating under two distinctive brands, Oasis and Coast, which are placed at the upper end of the middle market. At the time of the acquisition the Company had 130 Oasis stores and 30 Coast stores in the UK, with franchised and concession operations throughout Europe, the Middle East and Far East.

Divestment

We completed the €220 million divestment of Sierra to the Baugur Group in November 2003.
