Sumit joined Silverfleet’s London office in 2014 having previously been an M&A Associate at Greenhill & Co.
I joined Silverfleet at a time of high activity and was almost immediately drafted into the deal team that successfully completed its third investment in Denmark, with the buyout of Masai. From the outset I was trusted to lead key workstreams within the investment process, whilst at the same time having the close attention and mentoring of more experienced members of that team. There is no substitute for real deal experience, and it is this close involvement from Day 1 of my Silverfleet career that sets the firm apart”.
“A fair amount of my free time is spent playing and watching football. As well as (unofficially) captaining the Silverfleet football team, I also play for another two teams. There aren’t many mid-market private equity firms that are able to enter a team in five-a-side tournaments that combine French artistic flair and British pragmatism…and if all of that fails, we are able to call on our German colleagues for the penalties. We have had no small measure of success!
Sumit is hoping to bring this competitive streak to two other Silverfleet institutions: he has recently taken-up golf which he says is coming along nicely; but there is work to be done before he is able to compete for honours in the Silverfleet annual Predictions Competition, as Sumit himself acknowledges “I think I might have wildly overestimated the weight of the World Darts Champion…”.

Jean joined Silverfleet as a Principal in the Paris office, and in 2017 was promoted to Partner.

When he is not in the office, Jean loves to spend time with his wife and four kids, as well as taking any opportunity to travel. He is a big sports fan and enjoys playing tennis and football as well as running, skiing and more recently kitesurfing”.

Jennifer is another of our ‘Class of 2014’, joining Silverfleet’s Munich office having previously been an Associate in leveraged finance at UniCredit.
As well as her native German, Jennifer speaks fluent English and Spanish, and being part of an investment team that is truly pan-European was a big factor in her decision to join Silverfleet.

Outside of work, Jennifer is a big fan of the outdoors, spending most weekends hiking in Munich’s local mountains and surrounding countryside, if time allows. Latin-American dance is also a passion of Jennifer’s; although as most of her relatives live in Spain, the seaside and cuisine of the Basque country remains her true passion.
