Georges has had an extensive business career focusing on retail and consumer businesses. Having started his career in advertising with JWT, Georges held senior management roles with Absorba-Poron, a producer of childrenswear and Devanlay, the underwear and sportswear specialist with the rights to the “Lacoste” brand.
Georges went on to become general manager and then CEO of Givenchy, the luxury brand owned by LVMH, and was most recently CEO of the French childrenswear retailer Du Pareil au Même, which he helped to expand into 17 countries. Since 2009 Georges has provided consultancy advice to retail and B2C companies. Georges was on the Board of a number of specialist retailers including Histoire d’Or/Marc Orian, BSH and SIA. He is currently on the board of Silverfleet’s portfolio company, La Fée Maraboutée, of Vivarte, and of Fathers and Sons.
