Neil began his career as a graduate trainee at retailer Marks and Spencer. Having covered a broad range of operational roles, latterly as Head of Change, Neil became Managing Director of C&A UK, followed by another turnaround role as CEO of the NAAFI – the trading organisation that provided 600 shops and pubs for the British Military around the world.
Neil went on to set up his own company to consult in, or invest in, retail opportunities and in this capacity he was Chairman of TJ Hughes, a former Silverfleet portfolio company. He has also served on the board of Kurt Geiger, Snow and Rock, Dwell, Nuffield Health, and The Post Office. He currently chairs Karen Millen, Skin, and Create Health.
